ListProc Workarounds

These workarounds are all written in shell or PERL. They may need to be customized for local configurations. Below is a brief description and a link to the script. Additional comments are contained at the top of each script.

All scripts have been made available to the public through the CREN-LISTPROC list and are offered here for the use of the user community. All scripts remain the property of their authors.

PROBLEM: REVDB DIES ON CREATE
revdb_update_all1
Description: Run revdb update (which does not die) on all lists in the lists directory.

revdb_update_all2
Description: Run revdb update (which does not die) on all lists listed in an input file.

PROBLEM: LOCATE ALL INSTANCES OF A SUBSCRIBER NAME OR ADDRESS ACROSS LISTS
list.user.find
Description: A script to search .subscribers, .ignored, and owners files for a string (i.e., user name, address, domain).
